Conga is a great resource. Although at times runs slow.
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to complete all of our programs and have the quotes look the way we would like. Also like that we can call our sales rep and they fix issues in a timly manner. We use this almost every day
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to take longer steps to get where we need to be although overall it works great.

Powerful Document Solution, with a learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
This tool can handle the majority of use cases that your business could come up with. Between batching and automations, this can streamline your org's busy work by magnitudes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free training resources available on Conga's learning portal are severely limited, with most of the linked guides and documentation leading to broken URLs, and the paid training is quite pricey. There is a good amount of documentation available online, but many tutorials and guides are very outdated (i.e. Salesforce Classic). Without a proper Conga Composer SME to guide the process, it can be daunting even for an experienced system admin. The configuration of Conga Composer is not immediately straightforward, especially when you get into more complex configurations while trying to scale the solution according to best practices, not just brute force.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several document reports which have been generated through all sorts of means, from copy-pasting excel data to printing and filling by hand. Composer is helping to streamline this while also ensuring more accurate data and less human error.

Templates can be a bit finicky, requires a lot of trial and error

What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer is useful for interfacing with CPQ and creating template Order Forms

Conga Composer doesn't assist with redlining or changes to the doc from the templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer is allowing us to capture approvals on pricing changes in Salesforce and create document templates.

Everything is good, but it's hard to troubleshoot if something is configured incorrectly

We hired a consultant to implement and seems like it mostly accomplished what we need

Doesn't seem to have enough flexibility to really get all the formatting exactly the way we need it for our use

Makes working with Salesforce easier than hiring someone to manually program all the forms we needed to create saving time and money.

We specially use the composer as a background service to deliver custom document in order to provide a complete automated solution.
Integration has been quite easy and also the documentation is detailed.
Some corner cases and particular scenario needed tobe addressed with the help of professional service or support team, they were helpful even though sometime the resolution time hasn't been so fast.

When something goes wrong the service response doesn't provide any detail on the root cause so it's difficult to troubleshoot.
You will need to get help from the support team in such cases and that might increase the resolution time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We compose automatically the final offer document for the customer, such document is composed by a bunch of templates that depends on several conditions and need to be merged with customer and product details. We automated such process so that the user needn't know which templates to pick and streamlined the whole sales process.

Configuration is quick, simple, and easy to use, enthusiastic and effective support team.

We have a text field with quite long content, with conga, there is no way to check if that field contains some characters or a certain value or not.
