Such a helpful platform & great customer support!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire user experience of Drata is incredible. It's so easy to navigate. I began using it with no background or prior knowledge of SOC-2 / GDPR compliance, and using Drata has made it so much easier for me to learn and keep my company & employees compliant. It's so great to have all of our controls and evidence in one place for our auditor. On top of that, the customer support we receive is magnificent - the team is always helpful whenever I have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really not anything that comes to mind when I think of things that we have disliked. Any time that we have run into an issue or hit a bump in the road, we reach out to our contacts at Drata and they are very responsive and are able to find a solution quickly. We also have regular check in calls with our customer success rep & she gives us updates for things coming down the pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security & compliance for our full-time employees and contractors, as well as keeping our company compliant to SOC-2 and GDPR requirements. Drata has helped us through initial and continuous audit cycles.

Makes an otherwise tedious and messy process very straightforward and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
As an end-user trying to help my company get SOC2 certified as quickly as possible, Drata was basically fool-proof.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nobody really likes compliance-related work. But they made it as stress-free as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We achieved our SOC2 certification in less than 3 months.

What do you like best about the product?
As a globally distributed startup in a hyper-growth stage, we needed a scalable solution that allows cross-collaboration across teams and makes it easy for multiple stakeholders to see a user-friendly version of SOC 2 readiness. Drata exceeded our expectations! Their transparent display of what evidence was obtained from the tech stack makes it possible to be very targeted in the ongoing management of our control environment. The Customer Success team is very responsive and attentive. Thought leadership shared by the Drata team via Linkedin is another excellent indicator of their dedication and client focus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform works great! We only had minor challenges because we use different policy management and training providers. Longer-term, it would be great to see data feeds from other policy management and training providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata product will allow us to pass the SOC 2 audit successfully for the first time and every year after. Drata continues to add functionality to its platform, which gives us confidence that we can continue to grow with them beyond just SOC 2 framework.

What do you like best about the product?
What isn't to like? Drata is quick to set up, especially with the assistance of your dedicated customer success person. It's easy to navigate and has an excellent interface to quickly assess your compliance controls. It integrates with the most modern technology stacks which make automated evidence collection a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly isn't much to dislike. If I were pressed to come up with something, I would like to see better filtering capabilities within the personnel section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps us to quickly gain a better understanding of which compliance controls are not meeting standards. It gives our auditors a simple portal where they can collect all the evidence they need with minimal interaction from our staff. Saving us time and money.

As the title says, if your company needs to meet compliance standards, you need Drata.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if Drata allowed to keep the track of access to Vendors. Let's say we use Hubspot, Drata could keep the database of who has access too it, then once we offboard employees.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the platform and the responsiveness of the entire Drata team. Queries are answered very promptly and thoroughly. Drata has made a very daunting process a much more manageable task. Ali McCormick is in charge of our account and is beyond helpful and professional. Ali understands the process so well and with her constant guidance, we are making great progress.
Drata is also very responsive to feedback and I witness constant the constant improvement of their already excellent platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Drata. If I could suggest one improvement, I would recommend more flexibility and choice in the policies. Different types of companies require different types of policies, so more choice here would be great. At the moment there is only one template per policy - a choice of templates dependent on company type would be very helpful

What do you like best about the product?
Drata made getting our SOC2 simple and the team supporting us through the process made it even better. We were able to do our SOC2 in record time, with only one designated person from our team working on it. Whenever we have questions, Drata is so quick to respond and we feel like their team is truly in our corner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything, it's hard to critique a product and team that made our experience so seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a very small team so it was important that our SOC2 process offered the necessary support so we could achieve our compliance goals. Drata did this, and more. Even after getting our SOC2 certification, having all our compliance policies in one place and ready to go was perfect in the case a customer asked for them. We didn't know much about compliance before and Drata is perfect for every expertise stage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We did a ton of research beforehand and found that this was simply the best product on the market. I'd definitely book a demo with them to see what they can do.
Drata Great Compliance Platform
What do you like best about the product?
This Platform is easy to set up and also, incorporates your contractors and vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
You must have Policies in place for our employees and contractors to mandate they fully comply. Otherwise, they have to manually enter evidence. Its always better when the employer decides what all employees and contractors must do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are meeting our yearly 12-month compliance posture

What do you like best about the product?
Drata has made it so simple to capture and provide evidence for SOC2 and ISO270001 controls. With their autopilot (continuous) monitoring it is even easier to see your controls and their status in action. Their integration with AWS, Azure, Github etc enable them to monitor most of the controls on continous basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest this product made SOC2 auditing and (ISO27001 certification controls) like a breeze. We are almost ready for the upcoming SOC2 auditing and based on our previous experience it feels a lot simpler and easier this time. A couple of suggestions have been passed on to Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting evidences for SOC2 auditing has always taken a significant amount of time but with Drata's integration with Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Github (Source Controls) and many more have made the evidence collection process simpler. For us Drata app is source of truth for auditing and for the evidences.

What do you like best about the product?
The way the software holds your hand throughout the process is impressive. There were so many elements of our SOC2 journey that would have been missed if we had not been using Drata.

The software is sometimes not intuitive for navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is now our platform for compliance. We plan on doing additional frameworks after we complete our first. Knowing that I'm working on the right policies and right controls takes most of the guesswork out of getting compliant. Plus we now have a repository for all of our policies that anyone in the company can get to for reference.
