Pioneer cloud data storage
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using dropbox since 2012, and I still like this product, even some competitor has offered the same business and even low pricing.
I am still sticky to dropbox.
What I like about Dropbox, it's a very common thing. I can save my file to the cloud that's it.
also easy to share links with anyone. as simple as that.
Now, Dropbox has some features which are good to keep user using the dropbox as long as they need.

What do you dislike about the product?
With the all-new features they have right now, What I missed from the previous feature, was they taken out the FTP feature. that what I like, to upload specific file or image, can show on a personal website. without putting the dropbox frame.
also, they increase the price, from $9.99 per month to $13.99. very sad, I understand they build some features to make people productive using dropbox. but why they remove FTP. I don't get it.
Even they offer 2TB of storage, all my files are design files, images, and some documents. I don't think I need 2 TB, I hope to considerably reducing the price also reduce storage capacity to 500GB or 1 TB, that's enough. for me.

With dropbox, whatever file I need, as long as I save files on dropbox, especially design work, I can access anywhere on many devices.

If you are looking, cloud storage to save your file or any media you have, Dropbox I think it's your solution, even other companies has offered the same feature you need, but think twice, dropbox is a pioneer of storage service. and still exist and growing, also they offer some cool feature to increase your productivity.

Great software for document sharing
What do you like best about the product?
This has been one of the best platforms so far for sharing documents, files and other things. I've been using this for a while now and I am very much comfortable with same. There offline and online feature was introduced way before google drive and it works seamlessly. Overall it has been a good sharing platform. It also offers you online to offline functionality for better connectivity amongst your various devices. This brings a complete inter-connected platform wherein you're able to access your data from a computer or your smartphone/Tablets. The best and the unique part we get in dropbox is auto-detection of screenshot and giving an option to save the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the thing that I dislike in the application is the connectivity issue. There should have been an option to fix this. This software has a limited set of options and restrictions. Should adopt new features and technologies and develop a new interface for better usability. You can't have the sync connected unless you download the offline version of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily I've been using it for sharing official documents, images, videos and others. This has been one of the most prominent and easiest ways of sharing the documents and others with everyone. Could be used across all platforms.

I would recommend everyone to use this software. People who have been facing issues while sharing documents and other important images/videos can use this software, which would certainly solve their issue.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way I can have it synced with my desktop. That is what got me from the first time. Also, I have the feature of having online-only folders, so they don't take space on my computer, which is fantastic. That is very useful specially in terms of having easy and fast access to files and folders that I don't want to be taking spaces on my computer.
Also I can share folders with clients where they can see all of their deliverables in one place, that is highly useful for our team.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that sometimes I have friends which less space than I and they do not receive all the info because their dropbox is complete, so for those cases, I have to use other cloud services.

I have many important files that I need to have access to occasionally, in an easy-to-find and grab way. Also, I use it often for collaborative work where colleagues can drop information and everyone else in the team can see it quickly, which makes it highly dynamic for teamwork.

Dropbox is a great storage service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is set up in an intuitive way, and managing your dropbox files is the same as managing the files on your computer - the way you're used to doing it. It has a huge storage capacity, and you're unlikely to run out unless you have very specific storage needs that require an uncommonly large amount of space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to figure out what files can be deleted without deleting them globaly - I don't like to have all of my files stored on each device.

I use Dropbox to share files for work, to request files from others, and to store files that I need to access quickly.

I like that it is managed just as you would manage files on your computer. For this reason, I prefer it to Google Drive, which feels like a different UIX.

Can't remember having a bad experience with Dropbox. It has simply been reliable, when it comes to my file storage needs.

Dropbox provides me and my team mates with an easy to use, secured storage space. Access to unlimited version history of files we have shared, saved and updated on the Dropbox platform is a major benefit of our Dropbox use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface as a folder on my computer. I love the version control system. It makes it easy to collaborate and share files and edit files not supported by google docs. It has a modern and simplistic design. I love the logo too! It is hard to explain why I like it but it seems everything is perfect.

some folders don't appear when I install dropbox on different machines not sure how to fix or why it happens. The website version isn't as practical as the folder on my computer. I don't really dislike anything else about this application, I love it and so will you! Oh wait they gave me all this extra storage for a few years and then took it back I dislike this cause I could have had used all the extra space!

emailing one file back and forth several times, sharing photos and books are made easy.
I can't imagine collaborating without dropbox!!! I use it a lot for editing Latex files and sharing photos but also for making sure I have a backup of important files. I am so greateful to my collaborator, who recommended dropbox several years ago.

Very helpful must-have application!!! Nice interface! It made my life easier!!! everyone should install it! also by refering a friend you get additional storage don't miss this! registering with an academic email used to be beneficial too, not sure if it is anymore

It has a 2 GB limit for free uses, but it is very low; one has to pay charges for higher plans on a monthly basis.
Once files deleted from dropbox are deleted permanently, which can not be restored as it does not have recycle bin feature which is a major drawback.
