Best for online file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
offers all the great features, including protections for lost or stolen devices. In addition to saving space on your computer or mobile device, it allows for a number of other actions, such as remote access and file sharing. Available for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS (some of the most used systems in the world), the service enchants for its practicality and versatility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Dropbox upload speed is very slow, and files take longer to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is very useful as I can access my files anywhere without needing a plug-in on your laptop or computer. The data is also guaranteed safe and will not be exposed to viruses so as not to cause your files to corrupt so it cannot be opened.
I share multiple files, plus unlimited space and time. I also easily manage which files I want to share and with anyone at the same time.

Online storage for backups and sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
I like that dropbox is a cloud service, this way, you can access your files from anywhere. I also really like the sharing capabilities, so you can collaborate with colleagues and share files in a folder structure that keeps everything organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service becomes very costly because their pricing is steep once you use the few gigabytes they offer to free accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is an easy solution for online storage in which you can keep a backup of your important files and photos. You can also share the files with others, like colleagues and family.

Keep an eye on their pricing, because the payment for extra storage can be costly

What I like best is the friendliness of the software, it is not hard at all to find how to use it.

I do not like that I might be more expensive than other sharing information software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information among colleagues is very difficult, and more if we are a company that creates floor plans and designs, information tends to get lost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend others to use dropbox as an efficient way of sharing information among colleagues. Also, to look up videos on the internet that explain a little bit more in-depth how the software is used before starting the actual use, so it is easier to enter to the dropbox world. For first-time users, I would also recommend familiarizing themselves with how to contact support for any problem they may have during the experience while using dropbox. Learn how to troubleshoot dropbox when encountering yourself with any type of problem.
Best choice for online storage and file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and has high end security functionalities to ensure that all our information is safe and secured. The interface is very user-friendly and we do not have issues navigating through it. The file sharing function makes it easier for us to share our files and documents to the desired recepient with much ease. The storage space is big enough to accomodate all our files and documents even the huge ones. The learning curve is light and simple to get through and so we did not take much time implementing and running it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading large files can sometimes cause the software to lag and it take long time to finish the upload. Also when our network connection buffers, we are unable to share our files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary reason for deploying Dropbox was to help us in keeping all our files and documents securely in one location for ease of acces. Dropbox gave us exactly that and to add to the cloud storage space, it also allows to organize the files for ease of access. It also allows us to easily share any file with the desired recepient using the filw sharing function.

Great for Sharing Large Files
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox to share videos, large JPGs and spreadsheets that would normally be too big to send by email, or would have to have their resolution lowered in order to share. With Dropbox, you can upload your media and share via link or email to send to colleagues or friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can only have so much storage space in your Dropbox before having to pay. I think it would be great if the initial amount of storage given to users was larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to reduce file size, lower resolution, or put projects on physical jump drives! I wish I'd discovered Dropbox sooner as a way to keep and share videos.

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily share files with my team. I can also assign specific folders to certain people based on their roles in my organization. I also use it daily as my presentation platform for training purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It just may be me, but I find the Whiteboard a little difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can collaborate with each other being remotely located all over the US. Also it expanded my sales territory Nationwide when I transitioned to Total virtual sales. I now have eight Associates located throughout the country.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
These popular file-sharing and cloud storage service that allows users to store and share files online. Dropbox is considered one of the best services among others due to its ease-of-use, security measures, functionality, and price. In my opinion Dropbox is one of the best services out there because it has a super easy to use interface and is a great option because you get 2GB of storage for free! (Which is more than most other companies give you.) It also offers integration with the amazing app called “Evernote,” so that you can store notes online and access them anywhere. It also has pretty cool features like sharing folders and viewing download histories. Also great integrations and alot upgrades through the time, aslo good customer.
Other than that it’s a great service with very little downsides.

Maybe more automate with the pictures more visual to work with images.

What do you like best about the product?
Large files can be shared quickly and it's easy to sync with your computer. Before I had to make mandatory trips to the office to sync huge files, that's no longer the case with the use of Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the navigation can be confusing when using it online instead of the application. I recommend anyone using this software to not use the web app, instead use the desktop application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large files can quickly be shared through Dropbox. Without this remote work wouldn't be possible for my job. Collaboration is made possible with this tool, when you sync up your dropbox to your desktop it creates a seamless confusion-free experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're working remotely Dropbox is a must-have. Project management is made easy and seamless if you sync your desktop to Dropbox.
A great and simple online cloud storage solution with some killer features under the hood.
What do you like best about the product?
A low overhead, extremely flexible cloud storage solution that works across all my devices (Windows\Mac\iOS and Android) with easy to implement sharing and security options. The backup capabilities both for photos on your phone as well as your desktop\laptop are easy to implement and seamless. The recent addition of Office integration on mobile devices is a great productivity enhancement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I think Dropbox is great from a personal and Small to medium businesses, it can be out featured by products like Office 365 with its Onedrive implementation included as part of its full productivity suite subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified access and backup of all my key documents across all my devices with the ability to offer workspaces for my team to collaborate on projects.
DropBox Sufficient for Backup of Files
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to sync with File Explorer in Windows. This allows you to save and backup files to your personal device hard drive and work offline when needed. There's also an online version of your Dropbox account that you can access when using alternate devices such as your phone or tablet. Changes to files will sync automatically and visually it looks very compatible with the folder system in File Explorer for Windows or Easy Finder/Simple Finder for Mac. There is also peace of mind of having dropbox files stored in a cloud-based environment without the need for expensive backup solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing files and setting permissions from dropbox synced to one's hard drive is not as easy as the sharing features in Google Drive. It's not easy to manage members and levels of access granted on folders and files. The various commands of share, send, request, give access to are confusing. It's much more straightforward and intuitive to use the sharing features in dropbox online. Storage is also limited and Dropbox requires you to pay for additional storage. As you reach your storage limit, there also seems to be a delay in opening Dropbox on your hard drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of backing up data and being able to access files from remote devices. With the pandemic and more employees working remote, the need for file sharing is more prevalent. We are also able to solve the need for version accuracy and control. Dropbox allows you to collaborate simultaneously and retrieve past versions of files. Automatic messages are sent to users when changes are made to folders and files.

I recommend using a free trial of Dropbox along with Google Drive to decide which is easier to use and better suits your needs.
