What do you like best about the product?
Search tool works great, loads quickly, ease in sharing with colleagues
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the forward or back arrows don't return me to where I want to go. I think the navigation could work better. Also when I log-in it's not where all the files are showing... it's probably a home setting I don't have designated. I also don't like the way I can't see the whole file names (see screen shot)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this as our main archive, storage and back up for Georgia State. Other systems just did not have the capacity or competitive pricing to accomodate our division's needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've been using it for a long time and I think it's much better than other cloud storage apps I've used such as icloud, TEAMS and google share

Business essential for storing and sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way it integrates into multiple devices. We have a folder of product images we can share with our sales team that updates in real-time when adding new products and have it bookmarked on all their computers. I have also added it to my file explorer to look for Dropbox files just like I do any other file, and I don't have to get on my browser. It's also great for sharing with outside clients, I can create a link that goes to only one specific folder so they just have access to that and not my entire Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if other people don't have a Dropbox account, they occasionally have trouble getting access or don't understand how to use certain features. I also wish some features were available on the sharable links; for example, I can sort by "Modified," but if I share a link to a folder, the recipient is not able to do that. Small, but it makes things easier sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated previously, there are occasional problems with gaining access if someone doesn't have an account. It can also be a little slow to sync to my File Explorer sometimes, but overall those problems have been very minimal. The benefits of integration and sharability are great with this. It's nice to have a collective space to share things rather than emailing or downloading back and forth.
Excellent cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
Drop box is mobile friendly so you can get your files anywhere. They have an easy way to organize your files and share between staff and others. You can also link it with Microsoft all the files can be accessed via email and the dropbox site isnt needed. I can add staff and share files with the click of a button. Staff can download the files so they do not need to keep to help with storage limit. If i am signed in on Microsoft on any computer I have all my dropbox documents at my fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not alot of storage for the basic plan. need to upgrade fast which is not good when it comes to bottom line. There are other cloud services that offer more storage for free,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing documents with staff. Being able to organize in folders. Being able to access files on my mobile device. Being able to open and download if needed for even easier access. Sharing documents with other dropbox users. Also with being a Microsoft user I have access to all my dropbox folders in my computer folder. I do not need to be on dropbox site to get files, they can be uploaded to email etc just by click the file open tab.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you check how much storage you need. There are other services that give more storage then dropbox does. It is a good use to share documents through one workplace.

The only thing I guess would be that I would love to have way more space for the price I am paying. but that is just me.

Having the documents online in all my devices, synched, ready to be used, shared, emailed, no more looking for things I need.
With the app I can even scan documents with the camera and store them straight to the folder I need and find it on my computer in a matter of seconds.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Install it, just make sure to NOT delete from the synched folders things you need because it is removed from all your devices. Also you can decide what to synch to prevent your drive to be filled up

What do you like best about the product?
Share and store files with ease and piece of mind. Dropbox has established itself as one of the top contenders in the file sharing world. Love that you can recall a file after x days of it being deleted. Love that they use file versioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still lacking premium features such as face recognition, object recognition and AI digital recognition. Does not support private security keys. In addition, in doesn't come with a suite of supported file management apps such as the google workspace with drive combo.
The pro edition lacks robust auditing and reporting. Their file versioning could see some improvement.

I use Dropbox to quickly share content between multiple peers.
I find it's interface intuitive, ease to use and secure. I enjoy using their mobile application just as much as the Mac sync tool.

Figure out what you need out of a file sharing system. Do your research. Once done, Dropbox should be on your top 3 solutions.

Useful way to store and share files with big groups
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of being able to save files and links. There are a lot of actions to make the files organized in the best ways possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get unorganized quickly if the same saving protocol is not used across different users (for shared files and folders).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share a single folder or file with a "guest" is helpful. You can set an expiration day to view a specific file/folder, and the level of engagement one can have (e.g., can only view or can modify) makes it a breeze to share materials with even those without a Dropbox login.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using Dropbox for a business with multiple users, make sure to have protocols in place so that materials are easy to find for all individuals.
Great for file sharing, poor alternative to server
What do you like best about the product?
When it worked properly, the desktop version of Dropbox was excellent for seamless cloud storage/backup of files. It is also easy to create links and share files with other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
We tried to move our company's publication archives to Dropbox for storage, and even after discussing with Dropbox reps, the process was tedious and very problematic. It was impossible to work off of dropbox as a company, as files synced for hours and hours. Eventually I had to remove the desktop app from my computer because it was causing it to run so slowly and use all the memory.

We have been able to securely share files with clients via Dropbox. It also serves as our digital archive, however, it can only be accessed on the browser.
Great for Designers
What do you like best about the product?
DropBox has been great for me as a Freelance Graphic Designer. This application has allowed me to quickly and easily send links to clients with their full logo and branding packaging. Before DropBox, I had to physically give my clients a USB drive, email files one by one, or upload to Google Drive and constantly have to update viewing priveleges. With Drop Box, it is simple and quick and all I have to send is send the link and forget about it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few things I dislike about DropBox. If I had to name something, I would say the expiration date of files. Clients must download DropBox files within 12 months before the applications remove them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering large files to clients was one of my most considerable problems as a freelance designer. But, with DropBox, I can quickly and efficiently deliver files - no matter how small or large.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is user-friendly, is great for sharing files of any type. The offered interface is straightforward to understand. Dropbox has helped me to save time and resources. Now I can share, upload edit files on the go, and it's much easier for my team to interact and work on projects simultaneously and for quick updates. The basic storage that Dropbox offers is quite good for an initiator.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still figuring out some issues with the Beta version. It isn't much user-friendly.
Sometimes the shared file might take a lot of time to reflect in the shared persons' system. The offline editing option doesn't run smoothly. The pricing is something that is a bit of issue, although I believe that the basic storage that Dropbox offers is quite good for an initiator.

Dropbox has helped us a lot in file sharing.
Now updating and editing the flies is easier.
Collaboration becomes easy as multiple individuals handle projects, and the auto-update feature is a blessing. It's like working on a common platform although everyone is working individually. The constant and quick updates on files being edited by someone else are very good.

Get ready to boost your files sharing experience. I have used many other applications for real-time sharing, but dropbox is the best. I would recommend it to others.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is available around the world. You can use it in every country, and it is not complicated to use. I like that you can share it with more people, of course, you have to pay for some features. For individual use, it is effortless. You can get secure storage, document watermarking, chat support if needed. I like that dropbox is excellent for accessible files transfer and that I don't have to worry about what will happen to my files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I don't like the price. It is expensive if you are on a budget. Most startups have limited funds, so if you work with a large team or develop the business, you have to use cheaper options like standard options. This version may not work if you have large files or many people who use the storage space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you use dropbox, you solve the problem of where to store your files. It is a secure option, and you have an excellent support team if something goes wrong. Dropbox could be a good solution if your team works with large files, or you need to connect your team with other apps like Slack. You can also choose an admin who can help you with organising and managing teams. It could be a person from your team or someone else (a freelancer, for example).
