File Sharing Across the Business
What do you like best about the product?
File sharing between colleagues is as easy as possible and the system is very simple to use. The synchronisation between PCs great and we can share work without any trouble.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time to boot and is hard on the PC when opened the first time and especially if you have large files on queue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to share big files with clients or vendors with the `copy dropbox link` function, where we cannot send something via email due to the size.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool for personal use as well as business because it enables the team to share work seamlessly and work on the same thing at the same time without any problem.

Effective storage platform
What do you like best about the product?
The interface of Dropbox is straightforward and intuitive. With the click of a button, you can add your files to your storage directly or folders, which you can create. The uploads to Dropbox are relatively quick, and you can see the progress for each file and the ETA. Dropbox allows you to view files on the web browser. You can read text files and PDFs, view photos, and stream videos in source quality. Files from your storage can also be transferred by direct download or email attachments. If you want to send the file to another user, you can type their email address after clicking on the share button or allow them to download by URL. For moving files within your devices, you can download the Dropbox application for Windows and Android or iOS and easily access what you want. Dropbox on the desktop is very intuitive, and you can add your files by dragging and dropping them into the task window.
While all files on your storage are private, you can add an additional layer of privacy by password-protecting your files. This will also require the users with whom you share your files to enter the correct password to download them. You can create Shared Folders and add users to them, which will allow them to view and download all the files inside them. This is more convenient than changing the accessibility for each file manually, especially if you're using Dropbox to work with others. You can have Dropbox create routine backups of your files to ensure that recovery will be easy if you lose all your data.

What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is limited in storage, and its plans aren't as cheap as Google Drive, which offers more storage for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox meets my needs for cloud storage. It's very efficient and quick, making it easier to manage my files. The UI navigation is very streamlined, and I can open and view my files seamlessly. Dropbox also allows me to edit any text file, including source codes that I upload to my storage. Since most of my usage of Dropbox is related to my work, editing code on the cloud is very convenient. I can edit and write new instructions collaboratively with my colleagues by allowing them access to our files and folders. Cloud collaboration makes it easier for us to work on our projects and presentations, which we are tasked with bimonthly. The main benefit of Dropbox that I appreciate is Dropbox Paper, which is an essential tool for my colleagues and me to collaborate online. We use it for creating templates and slides. For project management and tracking of tasks, Dropbox Paper is immensely helpful. We can make notes and to-do lists as reminders and set priorities for each item on the list. This helps us stay organized and allows us to complete our projects faster.
Another benefit of Dropbox is that it's easy to find anything in your storage. Not only can we search for our files by their names but also their contents. This makes it easier for us to find specific functions and blocks of code that we want to edit or refer to while collaborating on documents.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is very efficient and beneficial for cloud collaboration and file storage. I recommend it since it's free, but if you want more space, I would suggest Google Drive.
Great for storing and sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy "share" function- which comes in handy when you can't attach files to an email for whatever reason. I use it for pitches, since many PR platforms tend to "swallow" attached files. The problem doesn't happen when you embed the link in the email. Also: Their UI looks better than google drive's, which we have used before. And for my accountancy, it is very simple to make screenshots of receipts, and simply upload them into dropbox via their app. Keeps it all in one place nicely.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike. Dropbox could maybe offer a little more free storage- when you store mostly pictures, or big files, that isn't ideal. Some of my interns use it, and as students, one doesnt want to pay that much. So they went for mega.nz or other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I store files I can share with Dropbox, share them in emails, and also store screenshots of receipts for my accountancy on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Still one of the best storing and filesharing softwares available. Minor flaw: the free version has very little storage to offer.
Easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
We can get started quickly using the same way as the file server.
I thought it was easier to use than Google Drive.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using the paid plan for a very long time, but at one point some files were not synced and I turned to support because they didn't end indefinitely with the syncing icon.
However, support only responded to e-mails, and I sent screenshots with e-mail attachments many times to convey the detailed situation, but after all, the problem was not solved after being made a lot of people in charge here and there.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Dropbox habitually for a long time.
The free space may be less available than others, but I use it for the purpose of sharing data on desktop PCs, laptops, and iPhones.

Smart Storage space on cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Smart storage space and secured centralised access on cloud for retrieving the data. Integration with google docs and MS office is very user intuitive. Dropbox brings all the files at one place which is really good. People don't have to download the stored file, while accessing the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't found any dislike in Dropbox so far. Probably they can increase the storage space for free users. Sometimes it takes more time to open up the stored files and often uploading bit larger files takes longer durations in low bandwidth mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralised access to all files and it's more secured. It sync in all the devices. Being an apple user, storage of Dropbox is very cheap compared to apple cloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very must to have tool for people who are looking for centralised storage. As it's free peopl should try to use it
The most secure and trustworthy way of transferring files
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is very easy to use from the get-go. It doesn't require much setup, and you can start using it right after you create an account, which you can speed up by logging in via Google. You get 2 GigaBytes of space on your cloud storage from the start, but you can upgrade to get 1 TeraByte or more space if you wish. You can use Dropbox from your web browser, the Windows application, or the Android or iOS application. While the desktop application is excellent for quick uploads, you can get a much better interface and navigate your storage on your web browser or mobile phone. You can upload any file or folder to your cloud storage and view their content on your browser if they're text files, documents, pictures, or videos. Dropbox is an excellent platform for file transfer from one device to another as you can upload and download your files from anywhere. You can also transfer your files with other users of Dropbox or those who don't have a registered account. You can right-click on any file or folder to find the necessary means of sharing, which are by email or URL. You can attach your file to your email quickly via Dropbox and send it to the desired recipient, or you can give them the URL, and they'll be able to view and download your file from their web browser.
In addition to ensuring high security for your files, Dropbox also has excellent file recovery features. The files you delete are only soft deleted by default, and you can recover them quickly from the Deleted Files tab. For Dropbox Free users, you can get up to 30 days to recover deleted files, whereas if you use Dropbox Professional or higher, you have up to 180 days. If you want to receive a file from someone securely via Dropbox, you can send file requests to their email. Even if they don't have a Dropbox account, they'll be able to upload the file you want, and it'll only be available to you.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have no issues with Dropbox. Its cloud storage is very reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for all of my file transfer needs. It's very convenient to share my files with my coworkers with instant uploads from any device. The files I upload to Dropbox remain on my cloud storage forever. So, when needed, I can share them with my coworkers at any time instead of email attachments, which aren't easy to find. Furthermore, the URL that I can share with people are always available. So if they ever lose the file from their device, they can always use my URL to redownload it. Dropbox is also a very secure way of storing my system backups and project backups. The benefit of this is that after each workday, when I upload the backup, my coworkers can access them through our shared folders, which they can then edit or add on to during our projects. Dropbox saves file changes as separate files, making it convenient to retrieve the old and unmodified contents of any file at any time. Dropbox is an excellent medium through which we collaborate on our work. With real-time file editing and content sharing it's one of the integral tools of our daily work life. It has several management tools and a password manager, through which I can store all the different passwords for my accounts securely.
The cloud storage on Dropbox is also excellent, and while the initial 2 GigaBytes was more than enough for my needs, the features that I got from upgrading to Dropbox Professional were worth it. It allows file locking, a feature that will enable me to mark files as complete and prevent their editing by any user. It also has a full-text search, using which I can quickly look for a specific word or phrase in all of my files. With Dropbox Pro, for any issue that you run into, you can get access to priority email support and live chats with their support team.

With Dropbox being free to use, there's no reason for anyone not to give it a try, at least. It's excellent, and the cloud storage is very reliable.
Cloud storage and file sharing done extremely well
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to automatically sync folders on my computer to dropbox in the cloud. Sharing files is easy too. I appreciate that the shared links move with the file within the dropbox system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video playback resolution is not great. Our team had to find another solution for clients to review video work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're backing up our computers and working files to Dropbox. We also use share links to deliver the final product to our clients
So easy, I was able to get 40 65+ year old singers to use it during COVID
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is so easy to use. It is very user intuitive. I was able to get my choral group set up on it which consists of at least 40 65+ year old singers who are not very tech savvy and they got set up on their smartphones and laptops to record a virtual Christmas and a virtual spring concert last year and this last spring. The best part about it too is if you have other companies using Dropbox as well, you can co-collaborate on folders without having to import your folders into their folders etc. We did this with an audio production company in New York for our concerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that standard users get 2GB of free space and it is too easy to choose to sync files from Dropbox down to your account when they only need to view them. I found a few people calling me that their Dropbox was full and it was prompting them to pay for a basic account to get 50GB. I ended up creating some very specific instructions to avoid that going forward but it was definitely a hurdle at first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wouldn't have been able to produce an incredible Christmas concert in December 2020 if it weren't for Dropbox. We created folders for singers to upload their video and audio recordings with direct links and it worked so well!
The simplest and available on every device
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is one of the best available cloud storage platforms. it mainly shines when it comes to its simplicity and ease of use, In my opinion it beats all of its competitors in this field. Also, it has apps for every operating system I can think of. It is convenient to send files using Dropbox to persons who can't access the internal cloud hosting service of the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan offers only 2 GB of cloud storage with limited options, and the other plans are quite costly compared to other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending files to remote engineers and persons where they can't access the internal cloud hosting service. Also it's pretty convenient to upload files to it in order to access them later from any device.
Good Tool When Google is Full
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox Business is an evergreen tool that works because it doesn't try too hard. You have files, folders, and groups you can place security on files, on Folders and decide exactly who in your team needs the tool very quickly. I also liked the ease of interacting with other organizations. We had to collaborate on multiple Data files while doing data management and DropBox not only supported the extreme file size without any issue it also allowed us to ask the other collaborators about certain data pockets and saved time going to multiple meeting just to walk through a simple issue or small mistake.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs - I prefer a file tool to be free and easy to use. Why Dropbox feels clunky and in need of a remodel to continue to be successful. I would make the administrative part easier to use and sell Dropbox business for one or two users - not require three total users. Some teams only need one user at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an excellent secure file tool that allows me and my team to share files with other organizations that are not using google or need a little extra security around their shared files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it; the more you use the tool, the easier it is to move around in. Don't get scared away because you can't find something in the beginning just keep looking or google what you're looking for.
