Drupal - best option for web content management
What do you like best about the product?
It's free, open source, & there are many developers who know it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It creates a large CSS file, which slows page load speed.

IMHO Drupal is best for organizations that can have custom needs and has funds for building a team of specialized developers.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to customize the templates through code programming, which allows it to be adapted according to the need or the nature of the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have as many templates or community support as other content managers like Wordpress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Websites about services provided and online shopping and sales platforms.

Use Drupla if you are a programmer and want to use a adaptive CMS
Drupal is the CMS you never knew you needed.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the backend editing features and the media library where you can upload images/video and organize them accordingly. I also like that you can work on different environments simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that for some sites, you cannot preview your changes before they occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drupal makes web design and development a lot easier. Many clients can upload their own content and enter copy on their own when it comes to creating pages on a site.

Drupal is a powerful content management system with straightforward mechanisms to power simple and complex flows alike.

It can be complicated to code for, but the thing I would love to see most is a mechanism to automate UPDATING the core Drupal code, modules and themes.
There aren't as many developers available as there are for WordPress.

Drupal is great at providing a framework to Integrate disparate systems.
It is straightforward to use and implement, and there are many modules and themes to choose from to get things done.

Very easy to set up a security model and build out the CMS (Content Management System). Drupal has a very friendly interface and many development tools.

There is a short learning curve. The product could be a little more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved both the external web site development and internal secure portal development. benefits in scalability, ease of use and future development were priceless.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to learn how to use Drupal if someone doesn't have a lot of website-building experience. There are a lot of options for page templates which can be used used for different purposes. Making edits on web pages is also quick and straightforward. If I'm working on a page, I can save it as a draft before publishing, and I can also quickly access the list of all the pages that I've created/edited.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a limit to what can be done on Drupal. The interface is not the most user friendly and can take some time to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've stopped using Drupal because I am no longer at the job that used it. While I was at the job, I used Drupal to create and edit webpages for my company's website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a lot of coding or website building experience.
