Kaleido blockchain is technically sound and super easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
In the arena of BAS, indeed Kaleido is one of the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
The incremental cost as you expand into many nodes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve double counting, double issue and double claim issues that have emerged in the international trading and tacking of Carbon Assets in the mix of decentralized policy and sovereign rules.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Estimate the cost of operation early on, otherwise it's an excellent setup.

Probably the most fuss-free way to build an Ethereum-based Private Blockchain Network
What do you like best about the product?
I was building a handful of prototypes for businesses testing several Blockchain ideas. Through the process of building these prototypes, we have had to test various ideas and in the process, work with Blockchain tools like Chainlink and IPFS. Kaleido was totally hasslefree. We setup and tore down nodes, added and removed new participants to the consortium and various other operations in a few clicks. This would have taken up a large part of our time if we have had to do it the conventional way which is to multiple instances of Geth.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a work in progress, there were some web3/solidity functions such as watching for events that didn't quite work as expected in Kaleido. Once in a while, a Geth update on Kaleido breaks our codes. But all in, Kaleido saved us tremendous amount of time. It manages our Blockchain infrastructure, freeing up the time for our very small team to build our app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saved a tremendous amount of time. Of all the things I have had to do when we build Blockchain prototypes, the most painful one must have been Geth syncing!
Kaleido was a great way to jump start our enterprise blockchain solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Before we discovered Kaleido we'd been experimenting with other ways to stand up and operate a permissioned blockchain. One of our most significant challenges was finding ways to integrate blockchain nodes for our partners, many of whom had little or no experience with blockchain tech. Kaleido's cloud environment and tools made everything easier to understand and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the Kaleido environment has matured there have been some changes/additions to the methods used to interact with chains. Some effort is required to stay on top of this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Kaleido to operate our digital offering and collectible programs. Our partners like the ease of use, we like the ease of deployment and operation.
Permissioned Ethereum in a Few Clicks
What do you like best about the product?
Kaleido is the quickest way to stand-up a permissioned Ethereum instance. The team has made is really easy to interact with the blockchain via a rich set of REST APIs, including deploying custom Solidity code and invoking it.
Kaleido also supports out of the box integrations with a number of other systems via their marketplace, so you can focus on solving your business problem, not infrastructure or security.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any Blockchain as a Service, you do lose some control over configuration, topology and security. You also trade-off ease of use against centralisation. The Kaleido team is very impressive however and makes these trade-offs quite explicit and has mitigations for some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We help Clause.io customers send contract data to permissioned blockchains (Hyperledger Fabric, Corda and Ethereum).

What do you like best about the product?
Kaleido's full line of offerings allowed us to outsource our blockchain infrastructure. Their support has been amazing. Major kudos to Nick Gaski of Kaleido for his assistance. Once we realized the functionality of the Kaledio Business Cloud our internal work load was significantly reduced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. As always, I am always concerned about support but that became a non-issue due to quality of support and responsiveness.

We needed a full stack blockchain-as-a-service solution to provide the foundtation for our healthcare data interoperability project, Probably saved us 3 months of time as well as a considerable amount of money on the the project
Easy to use, and very simple blockchain setup
What do you like best about the product?
Kaleido has built an ecosystem of services that enables to seamlessly cherry-pick and integrate the best available solutions on the market that are needed to create a blockchain system satisfying enterprise-grade requirements. This makes it possible to decrease the time and effort spent to deploy such networks in full flexibility.

We have not encountered any issues worthy of mention. We're very happy with Kaleido on a tech and business perspective

We have been building blockchain applications since 2017 in the supply chain, financial services, and energy industries. Kaleido allows us to focus on what is specific to the client we are working with, and offer ready-made solutions for what can be re-used accross projects and verticals.

Kaleido is moving so fast and adding features so often that it is sometimes difficult to catch-up with the pace of their innovations.

Kaleido allows us to create consortium blockchain in a matter of minutes, and offers capabilities to integrate with traditional apps with their full featured APIs. This solves the problem of hosting, and interacting with complex blockchain consortiums for us and our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
They make deploying Blockchain solutions so easy. No more configurations to manage yourself, no more troubleshooting multiple components to figure out what went wrong. Kaleido has been a lifesaver to help keep focus on continuous development while letting Kaleido handle the infrastructure component.
