Overview
Very easy to launch and efficient Anonymous HTTP/SOCKS5 Proxy Server on Linux for accessing the internet with RADIUS authentication by username and password. Includes user management Control Web Panel. It supports modern security protocols and requires almost no maintenance.
Areas of use:
- This Proxy Server enables users to browse the internet more privately by changing the IP address of the user's browser. This means the destination server doesn't know who made the original request, thereby enhancing privacy and security.
- Proxy servers allow users to circumvent content restrictions imposed by companies or governments. Many governments worldwide closely monitor and restrict internet access, and proxy servers provide citizens with access to an uncensored internet.
- This server is suitable for private users as well as for companies providing services for renting proxy services.
The key features of the HTTP / SOCKS5 Proxy Server:
- It supports HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy connection protocols with RADIUS authentication by username and password stored in a database.
- Default SOCKS5 port: 1080, default proxy HTTP port: 3128.
- "HTTP Connect" technology that allows browsers to view HTTPS-websites using HTTP Proxy.
- FTP over HTTP is supported.
- User Management Control Web Panel.
- Multilogin (concurrent connections) is allowed for users.
- The startup procedure is very simple; the server does not require configuration. After launching the proxy server, it is immediately ready to work without any additional settings.
- The maximum number of simultaneous connections to the server (number of sessions) is 250.
Highlights
- HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy connection protocols with RADIUS authentication by username and password. Default proxy SOCKS5 port: 1080, proxy HTTP port: 3128.
- Easy-to-use. After launching, the proxy server is immediately fully operational. No server setup required.
- This proxy server has a user management Web Control Panel. Remote user management via MySQL (port: 3306) is supported.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
- Launch the server.
- Attach the elastic ip address to the instance (recommended).
After launching the server, it is immediately ready for use, with no additional settings required.
At the first launch of the server, a user with the name "test" and randomly generated password is created in the user database. You can find these credentials to access the proxy services in the following ways:
- on linux welcome page (SSH, linux username: admin);
- on the User Management Web Panel (Management->List Users), which located at http(s)://ipaddress/daloradius/index.php (username: administrator, password is your instance ID).
More detailed Web Panel description: https://www.adeoclouds.eu/webpanel.php?server=5
When accessing the Web Panel using the HTTPS protocol, your web browser may display a message about potential risks due to the use of an IP address in the URL. In this case, you can proceed and accept the risks, as our objective is to encrypt traffic without concerns about using an IP address in a web browser.
Use the following settings on a client side: Proxy server address: ip address of your instance on AWS Proxy SOCKS5 port: 1080 Proxy HTTP port: 3128 Login/password: user records are located in a database so they can be managed using a web panel.
For your convenience, it is possible to work with the database using phpMyadmin: http(s)://ipaddress/phpmyadmin (username: administrator, password is your instance ID). For security reasons, the access to phpMyadmin is denied by default, but you can enable it by modifying the file: /usr/share/phpmyadmin/.htaccess
As an additional option, you can consider the ability to control users directly through the database using MySQL requests (port 3306, username: remote, password is your instance ID, database: radius, table: radcheck - list of users, table: radusergroup - access status for users Enabled/Disabled). To do this, you will also have to open access to port 3306 in security group.
