Amazon MQ Now Supports Resource Tagging
You can now assign AWS resource tags to your Amazon MQ brokers and configurations. Tags enable you to categorize your AWS resources in different ways, such as by cost center or owner, which simplifies the process of cost allocation.
Amazon MQ is a managed message broker service for Apache ActiveMQ that makes it easy to set up and operate message brokers in the cloud. With resource tagging, you can quickly identify an Amazon MQ message broker or configuration based on the tags assigned to it. A tag is a custom attribute that you can assign to AWS resources that consists of a user-defined key-value pair. For example, if you have two Amazon MQ brokers, you might assign both brokers a key of stack, with the value development for one and production for the other.
You can add or remove resource tags from your Amazon MQ resources using the Amazon MQ console, API, CLI, or SDK, and assign up to 50 tags per resource.
